Some people in the music industry forget how important it is to be first at something. Others follow people in suit thinking the same tactics will work for them. But in this case for this Seattle based band, this new tactic paid off extremely well.

The band needed to raise money for an album, and despite the normal ways bands raise funds like get jobs, take out a loan or ask for funds from relatives, this band auctioned their naming rights on Ebay. Buystock.net came in and bought the bands name rights for $251,000. The band is now know as Buystock.net Band.

Is it rather odd Buystock.com would spend that kind of money on a band. Nonetheless the press that Buystock.net will get off this is worth the price. Take directly from their website:
